Microslide® Viewer

A specially designed instrument for viewing Microslides® -- simply insert slide and focus. The viewer brings 5X magnification allowing every image to be seen exactly as if observed through a microscope under ideal conditions. The white reflector provides sufficient light for a bright image in the normal light of a classroom. The viewer does not require electricity or batteries so it can also be used outdoors. 9" high. Microslides®

Sets of 8 related 35mm images photographed through a microscope called photomicrographs. Arrows and call outs help the student locate important features. The film is mounted in a clear plastic holder that protects it on both sides.


Microslide® Lesson Plans

Each Microslide® is accompanied by a detailed lesson plan designed to stimulate, inform and question students about the topic under study. Each lesson plan has a pocket in which the Microslide® is stored. Lesson plans are printed on heavy tag stock and will serve for repeated use. Microslide® Lesson plans can be purchased as individual copies or boxed in sets, in quantities of 10, 15 or 30. Subject areas include Biology, Life Science, Health, Earth Science, Environmental Science and Elementary Science.


Macro Lens

With this slip-on attachment, you can convert our Microslide® Viewer into a handy lowpower microscope for examination of solid objects. Specimens are placed on the white reflector of the Microslide® Viewer. Focusing is performed in the same manner as with the Microslide® Viewer used by itself. Objects up to 3/4 inch thick, can be brought into sharp focus. Made of impact resistant styrene, The Macro-lens is completely washable and measures only 4-7/8” long. Brings an additional 5X magnification for a total of 10X.
